We are seeking an extremely talented programmer for the CTO of our company. This is a hands on role, as you will be the sole programmer to start. Once you have settled within the company, you will be able to build a team with hires you will recruit, manage and build alongside.
Our company is an established and profitable top 1000 eCommerce website launched in 2008. We occupy a niche product category with broad appeal. As our CTO, you will have a significant impact on the trajectory of the company over the next decade.
You should have great experience/passion about building websites that load quickly. You should have experience optimizing websites for mobile use. Our current ecommerce website is a highly customized version of magento enterprise. As our new CTO, you will work on the existing magento website. Eventually, we anticipate a complete re-platform to either another ecommerce system or custom/in house.

Exceptional technical skills, specifically with PHP, MYSQL, javascript, ajax and relevant web technologies. Cream of the crop, top 1%
Full front end and back end developer
Server management/optimization
Performance optimization
Mobile optimization
Email Management
Good communication skills with non-technical stakeholders in the company
Ability tointegratesystems via APIs or any method necessary.
A/b split testing
Able to admit when unable toaccomplisha technical task on your own, but able to identify the resources to get the task done.
Understands security best practices and implementation.

Compensation: Base Salary of 6 figures plus, negotiable based on fit/experience. Performance based bonuses based on measurable metrics.
