Our team works on Business-to-Consumer & Business-to-Business eCommerce projects adding directly to the O’Reilly Auto Parts bottom line and we are looking for exceptional developers to help us succeed! One of our projects has been the re-platform of http://oreillyauto.com. We are combining the latest in development technologies with an improved customer experience to produce a site that both increases eCommerce sales and gives the O’Reilly customer the world-class service they receive in our retail stores. Another project has been the refactoring of our existing Business-to-Business site to utilize responsive web design for better support of the changing mobile device needs of our professional installer customers. Some of the tools we use to implement our projects are Java, JavaScript & CSS, PostgreSQL, Eclipse, Intellij, SublimeText, Axure, & Balsamiq for development. We utilize Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Fisheye, & Crucible for developer productivity.

What we look for in our developers:

  • Love solving complex problems related to serving our customers better – both internal & external customers

  • Enjoy working with teams – our team has around 30 Developers & Business Systems Analysts, most projects consist of teams of five to ten people but larger projects could involve the whole team

  • Senior level experience with Java, HTML5, CSS/preprocessers, and JavaScript/JS Frameworks

  • Experience with Grunt, Gulp, & GIT is a plus

  • Ability & desire to interface with business stakeholders and users to define and refine requirements when appropriate
