CrystalCommerce is looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails/Javascript Developer to work within our engineering team to help build new features, manage operations and improve the reliability of our current systems. This position is open to both full-time applicants in the state of Washington or remote contractors that are willing to work on a per-project basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and write bug fixes for existing Ruby on Rails applications

• Write Ruby code to support new API feature requests while maintaining existing functionality in Crystal Commerce’s Ruby on Rails applications

• Create/Maintain monitoring solutions and instrument applications to provide insights into performance and to understand emerging issues

• Actively participate in high level team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations

• Conduct routine security and software updates
