Your first and future projects

From a greenfield start, we need a C++ library to use within a C# recording solution that will source and mix audio from various on-PC inputs, applying AGC and AEC algorithms as appropriate.

Once that’s done, we’d be looking to enhance any video skills you might have, as well as build some realtime streaming capability – so our product offering will expand as your skills do… and vice-versa.

About you

You’re a self-starter: a highly enthusiastic and motivated Windows C++ developer used to agreeing design patterns, technology and architecture decisions, coding frameworks and standards with other senior developers.

You will have a specialist skill in working with audio and can have robust discussions about CODECs, audio mixing, gain management and acoustic reverberation.

You care about quality: not just in the end product, but also in delivering code that other developers can maintain.

You should be up to speed with modern TDD practices, working in an agile environment. However, even if you don’t feel you are an expert here yet, we’ll support you in rounding out your skills in unit test coverage, continuous integration and modern deployment practices, as what we really need are your deep Windows C++ skills and audio expertise, as you would be our primary developer in this area (and therefore having regular friendly debates about C++ vs. C# vs. Java!)
