We are looking for a System Operations Manager to lead and represent our Server Based Gaming Operations team. As our System Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing and supporting daily core system operations, providing technical support for the Plurius system and continuously improving our support, operations and monitoring services.
YOUR TASKS
- Supervise and carry out monitoring tasks concerning all relevant system components and services
- Roll out system components and corresponding hardware, and configure our system accordingly
- Lead and oversee internal and external technicians and manage day to day operations
- Resolve crisis situations through proactive escalation of key customer issues to appropriate levels, including individual business unit managers and engineering design teams
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our customers’ business, current and future
- Handle tickets (manage events, incidents and problems)
- Proactively identify errors in internal smoke tests
- Rapidly restore services when errors occur
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure system availability without excess stock
- Communication and documentation of team tasks (transparently and seamlessly)
- Account Management: on site visits with customer (min. 1x a week)
YOUR PROFILE
- Suitable educational background would be an advantage (technical vocational school or university)
- Similar (technical) work experience, ideally in the gaming industry
- Experience providing 2nd level B2B support e.g. as part of a service team or product sales
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Technical affinity and an interest for the gaming industry
- Outstanding customer skills (service oriented thinking), Strong communication skills and team spirit
- Independent, service and process oriented work style
- Very good English skills (both spoken and written) , German is a bonus
- Willingness to educate yourself further, both through corporate training and knowledge sharing as well as on your own initiative
- Driving license necessary (own car beneficial)
