Rebase Ventures is a venture studio focused on building developer tools and B2B SaaS products. Every year we launch multiple companies. We’re now hiring for full-stack developers with a backend Rails focus to be part of the initial team for a new developer tool we’re building.
You’ll be joining a small team focused on the new developer tool, but within the existing engineering team family of 6 developers (mainly full-stack with a React focus) working remotely across EMEA.
By joining at this early stage, you will be able to have a big impact on the shaping of the product.
You can be based anywhere within the timezone range GMT -1 to GMT +5 (EMEA & India). Competitive pay based on location.
We work using an agile project management process. We have daily standups, weekly sprint planning and retrospectives. We use https://linear.app for backlog management. We do regular pair programming and code reviews.
You should be ambitious and have a hunger to learn new things. If you have a drive to rapidly advance your skills and career, this is an ideal role for you.
Required Skills
- 3+ years experience working as a Ruby on Rails developer
- Experienced in Javascript, ideally also Reactjs
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Cloud experience (Heroku, GCP, AWS or similar)
