Docyt is seeking a self-driven and motivated full-stack Software Engineering Team Lead who will help us get our platform to the next level. This is a hands-on role with a good amount of technical leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of delivering complex software systems and should be able to efficiently manage a small distributed software engineering team by conducting code reviews and by preparing technical design documents. By partnering with the Product team, the candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of some of our most critical projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience in technical leadership
- Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- HTML/CSS/JS
- One of the modern Javascript frameworks – React or Angular
- Good understanding of API design, HTTP, endpoints, REST, JSON
- PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Linux and git
Bonus Points
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Kubernetes / Docker experience
- MongoDB, Elasticsearch experience
