Senior Software Engineer & Systems Guru

Calling any and all true hackers with deep systems and kernel knowledge! You will be responsible for the novel technology that drives Sysdig, an open source system instrumentation tool we created and are using to revolutionize the performance management space.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who’s priority is to get things done, quickly and efficiently. You should be able to clearly communicate ideas, designs, and implementation details to your peers across engineering, product, and marketing. You must have 3+ years of experience building and optimizing highly scalable systems software, love creating testable software, be able to hack in and around Linux, and have awesome skills in C and C++ or any other object-oriented language. Bonus points for experience in building and deploying cloud based applications.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate for this role has 3-5 years of experience in the area, but even if this is a new passion for you, we should talk.

• Strong programming skills required with C++.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or equivalent

• Startup / entrepreneurial experience is a plus
