Frontend Developers are an essential part of HAUS. Your role starts with providing technical insight to the design team and influencing the creative process. You’ll be a part of guiding the design direction by rapidly developing prototypes of ideas based upon internal creative meetings. Once in development, you’ll use our React/Redux boilerplate to architect an application that follows our best practices and ensures that other developers will be able to work on the project as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Designers to iterate on the design and implementation of the application experience

• Work with Backend Developers to build features and efficiencies

• Build efficient, reusable front-end components and infrastructure

• Find and address performance issues

• Participate in design and code reviews

• Identify and communicate front-end best practices

• Maintain the ability to delegate tasks to other developers

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript

• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling

• Familiarity with server-side web frameworks, such as Express.js or Django

• Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies

• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations

• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities

• A natural curiosity of new technology and creative expression
