Senior C# Backend Developer Role

Advizr is digitizing financial planning with sleek technology that enables financial institutions to deliver higher quality advice to their clients and participants. Advizr is a VC backed, FinTech company with the following investors: Franklin Templeton Investments (lead), SEI Investments, IA Capital and Fenway Summer. We are an experienced team of CFPs, industry executives, and technologist thought leaders who understand this space and are determined to make a difference.

We are looking for a passionate senior C# backend developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is:

• Highly motivated to build awesome software

• Strong focus on quality and team success

• Fluent in C#

• Writes clean code, thinks about good architecture

• A Graduate with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• Able to work collaboratively with business partners and technology team to deliver solution, in-line with the strategic end-state and business requirements

• 5+ years experience with C#

• Able to develop, tests, design, manage and support high quality systems

• Comfortable with back-end web development (ASP. NET MVC, ASP. NET Core)

• Solid knowledge in HTTP

• Solid knowledge in relational databases and SQL

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Able to communicate well in English (written & oral)

• Entrepreneurial spirit

• Willing and able to adapt to changes in priorities and requirement

Bonus qualifications:

• AWS and/or Azure experience

• NoSQL experience

• F# experience

• Web api design experience

• IoC containers experience

• OpenID Connect, OAuth2, and/or SAML experience
