Critical Mix is looking to expand it’s growing engineering team even further to help with our AdTech services group. We need a Senior AdTech Engineer to lead the development efforts for some complex advertising tracking and measurement solutions for our customers. As Senior Engineer and Architect, you will own the core platform and will be expected to architect solutions at scale to empower the business.
You will be doing:
- Building system architectures and engineering frameworks to support the product(s)
- Work on all levels of the web stack (JavaScript/NodeJS, Python, PostgreSQL)
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to plan, scope, build, and deploy new features and improvements.
- Work closely with 3rd party ad serving platform developers and solution engineers
- Help establish technical standards and best practices in line with IAB standards.
What you will need:
- 5+ years’ experience developing web applications using modern frameworks.
- 2+ Years working in media / content publishing / ad tech industry
- Thorough understanding of ad serving, ad blocking and integration technologies (API, tagging, plug-ins)
- Understanding of the ad-blocking landscape
- Deep experience working with AWS / Cloud technologies including Lambda and Redshift
- Development experience using Python, Java, R, SQL, Apache Kafka
- Experience developing software using Agile/Kanban methodologies
- Formal training in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems
- Outstanding communication, presentation skills, and project management capabilities
