ProKnow is looking for a skilled, passionate individual to join our software engineering team as a front-end web developer. Successful candidates are expected to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment with little oversight. Candidates must show a passion for the latest and greatest technologies and tools and be excited about creating beautiful, intuitive interfaces for our customers. We expect candidates to be familiar with writing HTML and JavaScript and using the jQuery library. Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new application features and improvements to existing features based on defined project requirements.

• Troubleshoot issues.

• Participate in code reviews.

• Identify and drive improvement opportunities related to our processes, tools, and overall quality of our product.

Must have skills and experience

• Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills

• Strong conviction for usability, customer-focused design, and web standards

• Passionate about developing high quality code that has been thoroughly tested

• Experience consuming REST APIs

• Experience developing for and testing across multiple browsers and devices within mobile and desktop environments

• Experience with web development in a professional environment

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Familiar using source control systems
