With a group of highly skilled professionals, you will help shape thefuture of software defined storage. You will be part of a trulyinternational team which contributes to the Ceph community project and mcreates SUSE’s Enterprise Storage product. In this role you will be apart of the Ceph and Rook communities, developing core of Rookorchestration for Ceph containers, as well as developing Ceph containerssolutions. This is a job offering for a passionate software developerwho enjoys working on distributed storage technology.

Expected skills:

• Seasoned programming skills in at least one common programminglanguage (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, C/C++ are a plus)

• Decent Golang experience

• Experience with Salt or other configuration management software

• Linux and Shell scripting knowledge

• Experience developing applications for Kubernetes, or Docker

• Eagerness to grow professionally and work on Open Source communityprojects

• Fluent English

Desired skills:

• Substantial track record writing code for Ceph or other distributedsoftware-defined storage solutions

• Proven track record of contributions to Rook, or other Kubernetesservices

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Experience with distributed systems, cluster technologies
