Ruby Developer

Client: Brainyyack Role: Ruby Developer Duration: 6 month contract, possibility of an extension Location: Oakville, ON (Remote option)

Your new company Brainyyack, a leading client a professional services firm is looking to hire a Ruby Developer for a minimum 6 month contract working in their Oakville location. They are looking for someone with 5-7 years of Ruby Development experience

Your new role

• Design, Build, and Maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code

• Keep Up-to-Date with best practices and tooling from the development community

• Mentor Junior and Intermediate developers

• Collaborate with your team to solve problems and learn from failures

  What you’ll need to succeed

• 5-7 years’ experience with Ruby on Rails

• Exposure to developing or working with front-end and back-end frameworks and single page applications

• Testing using rSpec or Capybara

• Experience with working with REST APIs or building and API from scratch

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

  What you’ll get in return The client is offering a 6 month contract, with a high likelihood of extension and a very competitive rate for an incorporated contractor.
