You’re an extremely talented Unity 3D Game Developer in Canada 🍁 or the US 🗽.

We’re a well-capitalized, independently driven, diverse team pioneering virtual reality training at scale.

You must have experience designing and building large (yet maintainable) Unity games and systems, and should be able to do so while working on a bi-monthly iteration/shipping cycle.

You’ll be developing directly in Unity but we’ll also rely on you to bring your game development expertise to the table when it comes to working with our back-end team to connect your Unity apps to the cloud.

Willing to hire remotely so you can do your best work.

Responsibilities

* Lead and develop new 3D training applications in Unity 

• Take care of your team’s application in production: deploy, monitor, maintain
• Work with a back-end developer, designer and business team towards a minimum viable product
• Speak with our customers directly about once a month
• Set the technical directions + standards for your team

Requirements

• Intimate familiarity with Unity 3D and C#
• 5+ years of game industry experience shipping commercial games or applications
• Technical leadership experience and a mature approach to setting the technical vision and managing your team to do their best work
• Track record as a self starter and efficient management of own time and work
• AAA game development a big bonus
• Building multiplayer systems or experience working with cloud services like AWS a big bonus
• An interest in virtual and augmented reality
• High ambition to define a new product category
