As the first Technical Evangelist, it will be your responsibility to spread awareness throughout the DevOps, Infrastructure and Security ecosystem. The right person for this role is a consultative hustler who loves digging into the technical weeds to swap notes and best practices.

Responsibilities

* The ability to provide expert guidance on DevOps concepts, including infrastructure architecture across cloud and on-premise environments, IT operations, security, and development technologies and processes 

• Strong familiarity with databases (modern and legacy), servers (Linux & Windows), networking, and/or programming languages
• Become deeply rooted in the DevOps, Infrastructure & Security communities and be a part of the conversation
• Monitor forums like Reddit, Stack Overflow, Slack etc… to answer questions and become a genuinely helpful resource
• Attend and speak at meetups and conferences
• Write blog posts for our content marketing efforts
• Build awareness amongst our target audience

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of administering databases & servers
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and succinctly
• A passion for deeply technical products
• You’re an extrovert who loves swapping notes with fellow engineers
• Experience with content marketing is a major plus
