Position Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain the software products offered by Verity. Lead project development efforts while training development staff in technology best practices and product offerings. Work with systems group to understand internal and external customer needs, understand requirements, and effectively communicate product and technology decisions. Design and estimate effort of new features or sub-systems from business concept to detailed technical design. Develop quality, defect free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards.
- KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), or closely related field of study is preferred
3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience as a Senior Application Developer, Consultant, Software Engineer, or closely related occupation
Position also requires demonstrated experience with: ASP. NET and C#; and Database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or similar.
Agile project management experience required, ideally focused on SCRUM or Kanban

Strong communication skills including technical writing ability
