WellSky is a $350M technology company serving post-acute healthcare. Our electronic medical records are actively serving over 10,000 providers caring for millions of patients in home health, long-term care, inpatient rehab, home infusion and hospice.

We are working to start a new business unit to connect risk-bearing healthcare entities with the data and predictive insights coming out of post-acute care, enabling a real-time view of discharged patients and driving enhanced outcomes at a lower cost. We’re looking for a leader of product design for this new business unit, who can help us take our algorithms and turn them into a beautiful and user-friendly interface that informs the better care of individual patients. Your work could help enhance one of the most under-optimized area of healthcare and help save thousands of unecessary hospitalizations per year!

Responsibilities

  • UX Design – create ideas via process flows, wire-frames, and mock-ups to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers to build scalable solutions to improve the user experience
  • Explore user problems and requirements
  • Define the model of the interactions
  • Implement solutions with feel of the product in mind

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 + years designing for the web and mobile preferred
  • Excellent portfolio
  • Understanding of UX design principles
  • Strong interest in usability testing and performance metrics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • A demonstrated passion for user experience and the web
  • Must have a portfolio featuring examples of interaction design work
