Mediavine is looking for a talented Front-End software engineer to join our team. In this role you will provide UI development for several applications and set platform standards throughout the Mediavine ecosystem. You’ll work with the latest frontend technologies and help decide future stack decisions.

As a Senior Front-End developer other teams will look to you for expertise on JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to integrate with other platforms (like WordPress) or third-party web pages that collectively receive millions of pageviews per month. Requirements

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a concentration in front-end design and development

• Expertise in CSS/HTML and preprocessors such as SASS or LESS

• Expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6, ES8, etc.)

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue); React a plus

• Ability to lead and task manage software engineers and provide appropriate level of guidance and oversight to ensure delivery of engineering deliverables.

• Expertise in building responsive layouts

• Experience with modern browser technologies

• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Strong understanding on client side performance optimization techniques

• Ability to lead and mentor other developers

• Experience working across teams with different technology stacks

Essential Functions

• Lead Front-End development “task forces” to create specifications and deliver features in a timely manner

• Code reviews and mentor other developers

• Lead and take ownership of UI development related to Mediavine products

• Work with UI/UX designers and other stakeholders to translate expectations into a working interface

• Occasional travel may be required

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience building/supporting design systems

• Familiarity with Nodejs and Typescript

• Experience with bundle optimization (Webpack preferred)

• Experience with continuous integration and caching

• Experience with remote teams

• Salary: $95,000 to $115,000
