GPM’s Software Development Manager will work with engineering, operations, external partners, and business partners to set product development priorities, defined features, and manage product delivery. You will be responsible for successfully managing the delivery of product changes and ensuring an amazing customer experience to enable continued growth. You should demonstrate the ability to lead development teams to provide creative and scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do
Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of engineering team/s and products
Manage the overall budgetary and financial responsibilities of engineering team/s and products
Lead an engineering team maintaining current product solutions as well as drive building out next generation products
Drive cross organization meetings, manage issues, and continue to improve customer experience
Partner with development team lead to ensure high product quality
Prioritize, manage, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Partner with engineering, operations, external partners, business partners, UX, and integration teams to develop world class software products
Engage with enterprise architecture and IT leadership to ensure strategy alignment
Partner with development team lead to establish the vision, planning and execution to meet company goals
Track and manage project status for reporting to business stakeholders using established project management tools
Conduct product reviews, manage scope, and ensure accurate product development estimates
Stay current with the latest Agile, UI, and development best practices
Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of GPM corporate and client Protected Health Information (PHI) data
Take on other tasks and projects as needed
Who You Are
You have 5+ years leading development teams to produce high-quality products
You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, computer science or related field is a plus, with a minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience in one of these fields (additional work experience may be used to in place of degree)
You hold a master’s degree in business administration (Preferred)
You possess a strong business and financial acumen, awareness, and knowledge
You have had specialized training in managing human capital (Preferred)
You have extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have experience with project management tools, preferably https://monday.com
You have experience with delivering and maintaining robust Microsoft-based SaaS solutions
You have familiarity with iOS development
You have an ongoing thirst for new knowledge and ideas, and a passion for creating an amazing customer experience
You are a creative problem-solving, proficient troubleshooting and profiling
You have agile certification (Preferred)
You have a business mindset with strong technical skills
You possess a firm sense of accountability and ownership for the product lifecycle with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development, and product launch
You have a proven track record of creating user stories or product requirement documents
