As a Senior QA Engineer at Finsera, you will collaborate with the product development teams to help define and drive our manual and automation testing efforts. You must be detail oriented, passionate about product quality, and a strong advocate for the end user experience. Specifically, you will:

• Review functional specifications, technical design documents, test plans and test cases, and provide meaningful feedback

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Work closely with development team to identify test cases that can be automated for new feature releases

• Test new product features and ensure they are delivered with the highest quality

• Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution

• Partner with team leads and provide recommendations on how to decrease efforts in manual testing and be an advocate for automation

• Coordinate the QA process and manage all production deployments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

• 3+ years of experience testing web applications and working closely with automation team

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail while being able to multitask

• Familiarity with security best practices (authentication, authorization, identity and access management, OWASP, SSL, etc.) is a plus

• Experience testing applications built with ReactJS and RESTful APIs is a plus

• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
