Cloud / DevOps / AWS Engineer

IDbyDNA is seeking aCloud / DevOps / AWS Engineerto take our metagenomics platform to the next level. Job Description

• Enhance our AWS-based metagenomics SaaS platform and applications

• Work closely with our Bioinformatics and R&D teams to develop cloud services

• Optimize and scale our metagenomics platform for optimal cloud performance

• Implement security controls for cloud services

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline

• 5+ years of experience in AWS development

• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions

• Strong programming skill in common programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP

• Proficient database skill such as MySQL or NoSQL

• Strong data structure and algorithm knowledge

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS development

• Strong web programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related frameworks such as React and Nodejs
