The scope of work would include:

  • Expanding the current MeteorJS (Blaze Templating only) chat app for users to be able to record audio and leave it as a comment instead of text.
  • Data would be stored in AWS S3 Bucket
  • Users would be able to record audio via button.
  • Users would be able to re-record audio (edit) or delete audio.
  • Users would be able to play audio recordings via button after it has been posted.
  • Audio files would be stored in S3 Bucket and referenced in MongoDB inside the current Conversation Collection used for chat.
  • Templating/logic files must be stored in /client/Conversation/ files.
  • Any S3 Bucket keys/locations must be stored in settings.json to be made easily changeable for production/staging/development areas.
  • The recorder for audio must be HTML5, not flash-based.
