At Deliberate, we are building technology that brings more objectivity and precision to the diagnosis and monitoring of mental well-being. We are seeking a Lead Designer for Deliberate and its existing and future products.
We are looking for an intern with UX/UI design and development training to join our growing venture-backed startup company.

What you will do:
Participate in critical projects, meet senior leaders, and develop a transferable skill set for future full-time opportunities upon graduation
Gain exposure to the many facets of creating digital experiences and products from feature prioritization through deployment to production
Design, modify, develop, and implement technology solutions, focusing on front end web and/or mobile development
Design intuitive experiences across responsive mobile platforms, delivering easy-to-follow wireframes, workflows, interactive mock-ups and prototypes.
Collaborate with the team to understand consumers, translating understanding into design artifacts that shape thinking and guide development.
Come up with UI and UX strategies and designs based on our target goals.
Translate concepts into user flows and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Identify design improvements and devise elegant solutions.
Incorporate considerations regarding protected health information (PHI) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in the product design.
Who you are:
Rising senior with experience as a UI/UX designer.
Fluency in one or more design tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe CC)
Lean thinking – understanding how to build MVPs to validate users needs.
Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Figma.
