Want to build a Web 3 application in Go?
Fancy working at a well-funded, remote-first, early stage start-up?

My client is building a decentralised application to make it easy for people to create and invest into baskets of crypto assets. They have good early stage funding and are now looking to expand their team. This is a fully remote role in a remote-first company.

They have asked me to find an experienced Go engineer to join their backend team and help deliver their platform. You’ll be involved in:

– Delivering complex code/features for their rebalancing architecture including: rebalancing engine, consensus mechanisms and data retrieval.
– Discussing and collaboratively solving problems via Github Issues and PRs, Slack and Jira
– Writing clear documentation, tests, and recommendations for technical problems
– Review code and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback during code reviews
– Working with the research team to develop improvements and optimisations

Ideally you will have:

– 3+ years’ Golang experience
– Knowledge of testing, profiling, and debugging best practices
– Experience with microservice architecture and blockchain architecture
– Good understanding of cryptography – private and public keys, signature, hashing, encryption, etc.
– Experience building, operating and maintaining scalable, distributed, highly available services at scale

In addition if you have any Web 3 experience, that would be great!
