Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are looking for a UX Manager with the right balance between thoughtful leadership and teamwork to support our UX Design team solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges.
We are a small but fast-growing company, and your work will have a direct impact on the success of our business. Though our projects are challenging and complex, our friendly team is fun and supportive, and the work is rewarding! Everyone works remotely from home (pre, mid, and post-pandemic) and we’re adept at collaborating with online tools.
About You

- You have expert level experience using UX Design tools and systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience leading UX design teams
- 5+ years experience leading the UX Design of large scale software products/projects and/or large scale UX Design systems
- 10+ years experience in task analysis and research methodologies, creating concepts from scratch, detailed design, delivering to development, and support
- High-level of awareness in the agile process for design and development
- Experience and familiarity in delivery programs and various software development lifecycles
- Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Due to Rocket’s work with local and federal government agencies US Citizenship is required
- Due to Rocket’s work as a contractor and/or subcontractor with local and federal government agencies, COVID Vaccination may be required for your role
