- Work closely with our Senior Product Designer and our Head of Design & Experience, and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and content creators to help to build a site and app that already serves thousands of paying subscribers and aims to change the way that all of us engage in conservation.
- Build and maintain our Figma design system for both desktop and mobile.
- Build components and variants that are adaptable and extendable as the product evolves.
- Collaborate with UX designers to define problems, prototype ideas, and produce quality solutions.
- Remain up-to-date on Figma trends.
- Collaborate with product and engineering team members to ensure designs are consistent and well-documented.
- Educate team members on how to use the design system and components.
- Build content templates (e.g. email templates), maintain, and empower others on how to use the templates.
- Understand and champion user research findings.
The Product Designer is a dynamic individual with 4+ years of B2C product design experience. They have a passion for streamlining processes and keeping things running on schedule. They are someone who has a college degree in UI, UX or other relevant experience, and very strong experience using Figma. They have a deep familiarity with the fundamentals of user experience, web accessibility, and a strong knowledge of interaction, UI, and visual design. A passion for climate and environmental justice and the oceans is important, even if their professional experience has not been in that space.
