Brief Summary of Role

The Strategic Account Manager, Partnerships will be responsible for playing a key role in helping the Obie Insurance team reach its revenue and growth goals through strategic account management and optimization of Obie’s top tier partnerships.

What You’ll Do:

As an Account Manager on the Obie partnerships team, you will be responsible for ongoing relationship management for key accounts focused on driving revenue growth
Perform weekly/monthly/quarterly business reporting and review with external partners
Work cross-functionally across Operations, Product, Design, Marketing, and Engineering to get larger-scale initiatives properly implemented
Build internal and external business cases to secure resources to meet growth objectives
Strategize with existing partners to develop out of the box ideas to activate marketing initiatives and maximize sales

What You’ll Bring:

3+ years of experience in insurance, sales, marketing, or partnerships roles
Keen ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication skills and the ability to in time explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner
Passion for early-stage startups and/or high growth environments
Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in complex situations
Bonus Points: Chicago based or the ability to come into the Chicago office as needed.
Bonus Points: You have experience in insurance sales with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner.
