The Opportunity:

MainStreet is looking for multiple Security Engineers to help us protect our systems and customer data. You’ll have an opportunity to contribute to the architecture and security stance underlying the platform that powers MainStreet’s product suite. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architecture, security policy, and secure business practices.

What You’ll Do

Help design the security stance of MainStreet’s business and product
Develop and maintain MainStreet’s Security Controls and Compliance certification efforts
Develop and own automated penetration testing and code analysis tooling
Partner with SRE to build cloud security into MainStreet’s infrastructure
Partner with Engineering on the prioritization and remediation of security incident mitigations
Be a steward of core security and design principles

What We’re Looking For

3 – 10 + years experience building and maintaining production software in a back end focused or generalist role
Someone who can own and drive technical decisions with a grounding in solving problems for our customers and business
Ability to flex into cloud architecture design and system automation when necessary for the needs of the business
Experience coaching and mentoring junior security engineers and analysts
Someone that thrives in a highly collaborative and fast paced environment
Experience operating cross functionally within Engineering, Product, and Design teams.
A willingness to learn on the job and take on tasks as needed
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and communicate over the phone and with video chat software, such as Zoom
Bonus if you have FinTech domain experience, familiarity with billing and payments systems, or direct experience with SOC2, ISO27001

Compensation

Base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $210,000 and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position in addition to location
Bonus that is commensurate with the level of the position
