Relevant Bits is seeking a talented full-stack developer to work with our team and our premier clients.

You will report to the CTO and be responsible for converting user stories and UI/UX designs into functional applications using Nodejs micro-services and React. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including UX and PM, to ensure deliverables meet expectations.

This role is a fully remote position and open to candidates located between the time zones UTC+02:00 to UTC-06:00.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new micro-service functions in Nodejs
  • Develop new user-facing components using React
  • Create and maintain components that interact with first and third-party data via REST and GraphQL
  • Document UI components using Storybook
  • Attend daily standup meetings
  • Participate in software release activities with required stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members across organization and job functions
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience developing full-stack web applications in JavaScript
  • 3+ years experience developing with Nodejs
  • 2+ years experience developing with React
  • 2+ years experience working with REST APIs and/or GraphQL
  • 2+ years experience with JS tools such as Babel and Webpack
  • Solid understanding of FaaS
  • Experience with browser-based debugging tools
  • Proficient in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficient with Git
  • Ability to create web pages and components based on composite mocks and design specifications
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with a UI component browser tool, i.e. Storybook or Pattern Lab
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Experience with AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Functions
  • Experience with NoSQL data stores such as DynamoDB or Firestore
  • Understanding of Design Systems
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Proven ability to get the job done

  • Experience with Shopify
  • Experience with Contentful or similar headless CMS
  • Experience with Next.js
  • Experience with Tailwind
