As Director of Paid Media, you’ll be tasked with guiding the culture of our Paid Media team, improving the quality and creativity of our deliverables, and growing revenue through the success of our clients. You will be a critical part of our three year vision to elevate Directive into the upper-echelon of performance marketing agencies.

You will be a core member of the executive team making recommendations on strategy and approach to drive innovation and exceed organizational expectations

Here’s what success looks like:

Inspire an impressive team of 5+ Associate Directors to grow their teams and their accounts
Lead a world-class team of 30+ Paid Media strategists in the execution of innovative campaigns for mid-level and enterprise SaaS companies
Improve and approve strategy for paid media clients that results in client’s exceeding their goals
Partner with the V.P. of Client Strategy in driving efficiency and scale across primary operational KPIs
Provide leadership support in pitching new business and growing clients
Understand changes to the marketplace and industry, adjusting client Paid Media strategies accordingly
Oversee department budget, including staffing and resource requirements like capacity planning

What you offer:

10+ years experience managing teams of 10+ Paid Media practitioners, preferably at a growing agency
Experience with navigating, servicing, and growing enterprise level Paid Media engagements
A dynamic performance-marketing mindset for B2B, a clear POV on what is needed to drive performance success and curiosity for what’s ahead in the Paid Media industry for B2B and SaaS organizations, particularly LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Review Sites
High emotional intelligence and ability to work across teams with different types of individuals
Ability to understand the details of client goals and be able to translate into broader strategic campaigns for leadership and the greater team
Ready to pivot based on priority shifts or industry changes and can anticipate change
Clear communicator with strategic insights and ability to create buy-in across the organization
A clear, insightful vision for the future direction of the marketplace, with a track record of thought leadership in the Paid Media field
Solid strategic skills and impressive understanding of the business from both market and P&L perspectives
Experience with M&A + integration is a valuable bonus
Exceptional ability to motivate and retain a world-class team
Willingness to travel domestically as needed (post-COVID) – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas
