ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading retailer firm, isseeking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer, to join their Web ApplicationTeam.

Workplace Location: Athens – Northern Suburbs

What you will be doing:

You will be part of the Web Development Team, and you will participate in the architecture, design, development and support of corporate site andecommerce platforms. In addition, as a Team leader you will coach andsupport a small development team.

More specifically you will:

• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology andworkflow to coding standards
• Write efficient code based on feature specifications
• Participate in agile teams
• Prioritize, assign, and execute tasks throughout the agile iterations
• Schedule product releases with internal teams

• A BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closelyrelevant field
• 3+ years of work experience as a Java developer
• Excellent knowledge of Java 8+
• Good knowledge of REST API development
• Good knowledge of the Spring Boot framework
• Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and MongoDB

Any of the following will be considered an asset

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices
