What you’ll do:
You will help manage and grow one or more teams in our engineering organization. Your first and main responsibility will be the to the people you support. You will ensure that they are growing as engineers and leaders while delivering value to the business. You will be responsible for working with Product, Design, Leadership, Customer Support, and Operations to build alignment on project plans and roadmap. You will work to drive quality and velocity, hire and mentor engineers, and grow leaders within the organization.
About you:
• 4+ years of experience leading and hiring diverse teams
• A track record of delivering multiple projects on time and experience working with customer focused engineering teams
• A proven history of delivering quality products and features to customers
• A background in building applications and services in Python, Javascript, Go, or similar languages.
• Deep empathy, for the people you support, a thirst for feedback, and a desire to help people grow
• Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective engineering execution
• Experience with agile development processes, planning, and prioritization of projects in collaboration with product and design
