Are you a detail-focused professional with strong listening and transcription skills? Welo Data is launching an exciting project and is seeking talented individuals to join our team as Transcribers. In this remote role, you will transcribe audio recordings accurately and enhance them with context using tags and timestamps. What you will do:
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and transcribe the content with high accuracy.
– Add timestamps to your transcriptions to align with the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to improve project results.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally appropriate and reflect the intended tone and meaning.
– Coordinate with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all transcriptions.
– Meet deadlines and follow specific transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.

Project Details
Commitment: Flexible—minimum 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 hours depending on availability).
Job Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Requirements:
– Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, with strong English skills.
– Previous experience in transcription, translation, or language-related projects is highly preferred.
– Ability to identify and differentiate regional dialects, emotions, and contextual signals in audio.
– Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to produce accurate, error-free transcriptions.
– Familiarity with transcription tools/software, including working with timestamps and tags.
– Availability to meet deadlines and submit consistent, high-quality work.
