DESCRIPTION TITLE: Business Development Consultant FUNCTION: Sales & Marketing, Operations REPORTS TO: Principal Consultant/Project Manager SALARY: New Client Based Compensation

Position Summary Leads Business Development efforts by completing Request for Proposals, Scopes of Work, Presentations, letters, and other project deliverables. Works with a project team to complete engagements on-time and within budget. Completes tasks such as research, writing, editing, printing, binding, note taking, and filing to support the Principal Consultant. Travel is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follows direction well to complete tasks as assigned by the Principal Consultant. Completes all project related activities and deliverables. Responds to Request for Proposals and Scopes of Work. Prepares presentations, charts and graphs, Excel spreadsheets, Visio Diagrams, letters, advertisements, and other related documents. Conducts research on best practices, industry trends, products, and markets. When engaged on a project, may work off-site at the project location. Must be able to travel within the Baltimore- Washington metropolitan area.

We are seeking candidates to fill roles in the Baltimore/Washingtonarea. Candidates with public sector and / or health and human services are highly desirable. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • All Majors/Degrees Welcome. Business and English Majors/Degrees preferred • Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week to start. Willing and able to work up to 20 hours per week to start. 40-50 hours is a long term option after successful attainment of clients • Expertise in MS Office and familiarity with Visio • Ability to conduct research and analyze project feasibility • Ability to travel and work at client sites throughout the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. • Excellent oral and written communication; technical writing skills preferred. • Able to work well independently and in a team environment.

Salary and compensation

$30,000 — $100,000/year
