To assist with the broad roll out of AdverseEvents Explorer, we are seeking an experienced front-end web developer and UI/UX engineer to become a part of our growing Boston, MA, San Diego, CA and Santa Rosa, CA based company. This is a ground floor opportunity to be a part of a disruptive, growing start-up business.
We expect to see: • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. • Experience building small and large scale projects from start to finish. • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
We like to see (in order of importance): • Experience working with AngularJS or other MVW type frameworks. • Unit testing / E2E testing with Jasmine, Karma, etc. • Experience in building service oriented application architectures (RESTful APIs etc). • Experience interfacing with/developing data persistence methods (SQL, MongoDB, Redis etc)
Ideal candidates will have: • 3+ years of experience working as part of a front-end engineering team. • A portfolio of past-work in line with above requirements. • StackOverflow and/or GitHub user profile IDs so we can review your code.
Responsibilities: • Design, implement and test front-end applications using JavaScript, AngularJS and HTML5. • Modify existing applications to accommodate changes, refactor code, and reduce overhead. • Create new responsive designs, layouts and keep up with latest trends in UI/UX development while working with backend engineering team.
