We’re looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Master Black Belt (MBB) to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role is essential for driving strategic process improvements, mentoring Lean Six Sigma talent, and building a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead complex projects, mentor and train Black and Green Belts as well as Protective employees, and ensure successful implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles. The ideal candidate is deeply curious about problems and motivated by the real value they can deliver for customers and employees.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Project Management and Execution:**
– Lead high-impact Lean Six Sigma projects aligned with strategic business goals.
– Analyze complex data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
– Partner across functions to design and implement scalable solutions.
– Apply digital tools and analytics to support process improvement.
– Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions.
– Support change management and stakeholder engagement efforts.
– **Leadership and Mentoring:**
– Mentor Black Belts and Green Belts.
– Lead by example and demonstrate best practices in Lean Six Sigma.
– **Training and Development:**
– Create and deliver training for Six Sigma certification.
– Run workshops and seminars to promote a continuous improvement mindset.
– **Data Analysis and Problem Solving:**
– Use statistical tools and methods to analyze data and determine root causes.
– Understand or have experience with programming fundamentals and data structures.
– Implement data-driven solutions to improve processes and reduce variation.
– **Stakeholder Engagement:**
– Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
– Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support.
**Qualifications:**
– Certified Black Belt with extensive Lean Six Sigma experience.
– 5+ years of experience and a proven record of leading process improvement projects with verified results.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management abilities.
– Ability to mentor and train others in Six Sigma practices.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
– Experience in Insurance, Finance, or related areas.
– Advanced degree in STEM, Business, or a related field.
– Master Black Belt Certification
$100,000 – $150,000 per year
Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and experience. The range listed is only one part of Protective’s total compensation package.
This role also includes additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive tied to individual and company performance.
