We are seeking an experienced and talented Public Relations Manager to join Xsolla’s Global Marketing team. In this role, you will support and make meaningful contributions to the planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of our PR and Media Relations campaigns across the MENA region.

Your goal will be to strengthen and enhance Xsolla’s reputation among employees, prospective candidates, clients, partners, influencers, industry leaders, and gamers in the region. If you excel at writing, technology, and customer service—and you have a strong understanding of gaming technology, fintech, and online communities—this position may be a great fit. We value team members who listen well, collaborate smoothly, and are willing to share innovative ideas. As an individual, you should be dependable, trustworthy, and proactive.

You can work from our Cyprus office or remotely anywhere across the MENA region, contributing to regional communication strategies and reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Public Relations.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
– Build relationships with Tier 1 and local media outlets and partners across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Egypt, and the wider MENA region.
– Contribute to marketing communications plans, including strategy, objectives, budget, and tactics.
– Develop a strategic media relations plan to secure prominent placements in English- and Arabic-language print, broadcast, and online outlets.
– Help coordinate all PR activities, including event logistics and speaking opportunities at major regional gaming, fintech, and web3 events.
– Work closely with the Integrated Marketing Manager to create compelling content for both traditional and new media platforms, while respecting local cultural expectations.
– Use established media relationships and grow new contacts within MENA-focused business, technology, and gaming industry media, including content creators and influencers.
– Handle media inquiries and interview requests.
– Write content for press releases, bylined articles, and presentation scripts.
– Continuously identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising within the region’s rapidly expanding gaming and entertainment ecosystem.
– Build relationships with thought leaders, government innovation organizations, and gaming ecosystem stakeholders to increase awareness of the industry.
– Stay current on trends impacting clients and the MENA gaming market, and recommend appropriate communication approaches.
– Create content that demonstrates thought leadership and creativity, and maintain a library of editorial ideas aligned with regional plans.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
– BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
– 6–8 years of proven experience developing and executing successful public relations campaigns domestically and internationally, with meaningful experience in the MENA market.
– Strong networks with local and international business and industry media across the MENA region; relationships with content creators/influencers are a plus.
– Excellent writing and editing skills across short-form, long-form, branded content, and light copywriting.
– Experience planning and executing PR events in the MENA region, especially in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
– Expertise in crisis communications.
– Prior work experience in the video game industry is required; fintech experience is beneficial.
– Ability to localize press releases for Arabic-language markets and awareness of regional cultural nuances.

Freedom to Act
– Ability to motivate yourself, work independently across time zones, and contribute effectively in a globally distributed team.

Size and Complexity
– Demonstrated success in managing corporate reputation and launching multiple products, consistently presenting a positive, professional image across diverse MENA markets.

Interaction
– Willingness and ability to take on special projects.
– Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of professionalism.
– Strong performance in cross-functional teams and with external vendors.

External Relationships
– Understanding of the full range of skills needed to manage customer-focused relationships with partners, government entities, and stakeholders in the regional gaming ecosystem.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Because this role covers the MENA region, knowledge of local data privacy regulations (including the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection and Saudi Arabia’s PDPL), as well as other local laws and business practices, is essential. English fluency is required; professional fluency in Arabic and/or Hebrew is strongly preferred. Additional European or regional languages are a plus.
