Role Overview
Join our distinguished team as a Reservation & Revenue Manager, where you will lead reservation and revenue optimization initiatives in a leading hospitality setting. As part of our team at The Chedi Muscat, you will work onsite, applying your expertise to ensure smooth reservation operations, maximize revenue, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role calls for a proactive professional who can manage both the day-to-day operational and strategic aspects of reservation management.
Responsibilities
– Oversee daily reservation team operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy across all booking activities.
– Increase room revenue through effective yield management and inventory control.
– Coordinate with sales, front office, and marketing teams to ensure clear communication and consistently high-quality guest service.
– Review booking trends and market data, and produce detailed management reports on occupancy and revenue performance.
– Establish, implement, and maintain reservation procedures in line with hotel policies and standards.
– Handle and resolve guest concerns related to reservations, ensuring solutions meet high service expectations.
– Train, motivate, and coach reservation team members to build a high-performance culture.
– Ensure electronic and paper filing systems are accurate and fully compliant.
Must Have Requirements
– At least 7 years of experience as a Reservation Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a reputable hotel.
– Graduation from an accredited college or university.
– Demonstrated knowledge of accounting or another numerate field.
– Strong customer service orientation, communication, and organizational skills.
– Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver on commitments.
– Excellent computer skills and strong typing ability, including advanced MS Excel and Word proficiency.
– Strong listening and comprehension skills.
– High attention to detail and effective process management.
– Solid knowledge of company policies and procedures.

– Familiarity with hotel property management systems and revenue management tools.
