We’re committed to making the Spotify brand—something that resonates so strongly with audiences and creators—feel just as powerful in our own spaces. That means developing innovative communication that goes beyond the obvious, and working with our “Bandmates” across every level and across all areas of the company.
You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team that works across the business to deliver clear, engaging, and relevant communication. You bring excellent writing skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to build relationships across teams and locations. Because internal communication is about creating connection—not just sharing information—you’ll also have the opportunity to test new ideas and creative formats that bring our stories to life. If you enjoy shaping compelling narratives and pushing your creativity further, this role is for you.
**What you’ll do**
– Write, edit, and publish content for our company-wide newsletter—stories that captivate and keep every Spotifier up to date on what’s new, exciting, and next.
– Partner with the communications team to energize Bandmates for marketing campaigns, product launches, and key company milestones.
– Help plan and deliver internal events by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and supporting live productions for employees worldwide.
– Find new ways to strengthen internal communication—through fresh content formats, creative visuals, and interactive moments that make information more accessible and memorable.
– Track engagement and sentiment across our internal channels, and use those insights to shape what we develop next.
**Who you are**
– 3+ years of experience in internal communications or a related field.
– You love tackling challenges, enjoy solving problems, and continuously work to improve how we communicate with each other.
– You keep up with pop culture, internet trends, and what people will be talking about next—and you know how to translate that energy into internal storytelling formats.
– You write in a natural, human voice and avoid stiff corporate tone. Your style feels fresh, authentic, and unmistakably Spotify.
– You’re comfortable using AI tools to draft, edit, and experiment, and you see AI as a creative partner.
– You build strong relationships and genuinely enjoy cross-functional teamwork to deliver great results.
– You bring good judgment, curiosity, and a willingness to jump in when the team needs support.
– You’re equally enthusiastic about internal and external communication, and you treat employees like engaged fans and trusted insiders.
**Where you’ll be**
– This role is based in London (UK) or Stockholm (Sweden).
– We offer flexibility to work in the way that suits you best. While there will be some in-person meetings, you’ll still have the option to work from home. We ask that you come into the office three times per week.
