Your Role

We’re looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist to support our Finance team. In this role, you will manage supplier invoices, ensure timely payments, reconcile accounts, and help keep finance operations running smoothly—working closely with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Marusa.

Your Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Operations:

• Collect, verify, and process incoming supplier invoices
• Rename, organize, and upload files into the accounting system
• Ensure complete documentation is available for the accountant to post

Bank & Payment Activities:

• Monitor automated bank feeds and identify missing receipts or unmatched items
• Follow up with internal teams to obtain missing invoices or supporting documentation
• Prepare payment batches for CFO review and approval

Reconciliation & Controls:

• Ensure accounts payable balances are correctly reconciled in the system
• Identify discrepancies and follow up until resolved
• Assist with month-end AP checks as needed

Bank & Compliance Support:

• Serve as the operational point of contact for bank compliance or documentation requests
• Support timely responses to KYC/AML and bank-related questions

Your Qualifications

Hard Skills:

• 2–4+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or a related role
• Relevant formal education (Accounting/Finance/Business Management or similar)
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with accounting tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
• Comfort working with online banking portals and payment tools
• Exposure to multi-entity and/or multi-currency operations

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills (fluent English)
• Driven, accountable, and committed to outcomes
• “Doer” mindset—fast execution with the ability to balance planning, execution, and strategy
• Humble and eager to learn, open to feedback
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with clear structure and accountability
• Experience thriving in fast-growing/startup environments
