Are you “the one”?
We’re searching for a passionate copywriter to share Better Proposals’ story with the world, build strong relationships with prospective customers, and support our existing customers through high-quality educational content.
A day in the life
  • Writing long-form content for the Better Proposals blog
  • Create content that draws in and engages readers, encourages them to stay on our website, and ultimately converts them into customers
  • Capture the tone and voice of the Better Proposals blog and confidently write about a range of topics related to sales, marketing, lead generation, and business proposals
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices to all content
  • Write guest posts in line with guidelines from a variety of platforms
  • Respond with short answers to HARO requests (no worries if you don’t know what HARO is—we’ll show you!)

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a copywriter (agency or in-house). You should have experience across different types of copywriting—from short, persuasive CTAs to in-depth blog content.
  • Excellent skills in giving and receiving constructive feedback, and a willingness to support teammates
  • A self-starter who can manage multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong command of the English language (ideally a native English speaker)
  • Solid understanding of SEO, with the ability to recognize and apply the details that improve writing for different channels and audiences
  • Experience writing for B2B audiences—ideally you’re familiar with the SaaS space and understand how it works
  • A genuine interest in copywriting, staying current with new trends and techniques, and an ability to communicate in our brand voice
