The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate, consistent financial reporting across multiple business units. This role will leverage established financial reporting templates and processes, focusing on execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement rather than building systems from scratch.
$70,000 – $80,000 a year

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
  • · Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations across 4 business units
  • · Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports using existing company templates
  • · Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across all business units
  • · Support budgeting and forecasting processes using established frameworks
  • · Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies and controls
  • · Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • · Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and audits
  • · Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy

Reporting Structure:

  • · Reports directly to the General Manager for day-to-day operations
  • · Supports the Company President on larger projects and financial initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • · 4–8+ years of accounting experience
  • · Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
  • · Experience with full-cycle accounting and multi-entity environments preferred
  • · Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
  • · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • · CPA or CPA-track (preferred but not required)
  • · Experience in service-based or industrial industries
  • · Experience with payroll and multi-entity reporting
