What we require;

-Solid web application development experience in Python and MySQL using Django Framework -Bachelor’s degree / studying in a quantitative field (e.g. CS, Engineering or Mathematics) -Experience designing REST APIs and web architectures for consumer web products -Broad but non-trivial knowledge of SQL, NoSQL and NewSQL technologies -A strong track record of working with design, product and engineering to lead complex backend projects to completion

What will be a plus;

-Knowledge of a few of the following: jQuery, Backbone, AngularJS, Bootstrap -EC2 / Cloud provider experience -Experience using Amazon Web Services (S3, SQS, SNS) -Knowledge of front end technologies including Javascript, CSS and HTML5 -Database design and SQL query optimization experience -Comfortable with Unix environment -You are meticulous, detail oriented and take pride in project ownership
