Team

This strategic role focuses on early adoption of new tools, validating new concepts, and creating proof-of-concept solutions. It involves extensive analysis and risk evaluation, serving as the primary person to explore and test new directions before they are more widely implemented.

You

We are looking for an experienced senior backend developer (Laravel, Symfony, Node.js) with strong systems design abilities and a strategic approach. You will be an early adopter and evaluator of emerging tools and ideas, responsible for creating POC solutions and developing AI-driven applications. This position requires deep analysis, risk assessment, and collaboration across teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build and maintain backend applications using Laravel, Symfony, and Node.js, including API integrations and internal front-end connections
• Test and validate new tools and technologies, developing proof-of-concept solutions
• Design and implement AI-driven systems, leveraging strong systems design skills
• Conduct analysis and risk assessments on new tools, methodologies, and technical directions
• Support the cybersecurity research team by creating and refining automation and investigative tools
• Work closely with security researchers to improve internal tools and analyze cybersecurity data
• Improve backend performance, write clean and secure code, and contribute to overall system security
• Stay current with PHP and Node.js best practices, AI advancements, and emerging cybersecurity trends

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Strong experience with PHP 8 (Laravel and Symfony), Node.js, SQL, and RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of systems design, with the ability to architect AI-based solutions
• Proven experience with AI-assisted development and tools
• Background in testing new technologies and building proof-of-concept implementations
• Strong analytical abilities and skill in assessing technical risk
• Experience working with SQL and collaborating with Big Data teams
• Knowledge of security best practices in web development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially when working with security teams

GROSS SALARY

4400–7000 EUR gross per month, with flexibility to discuss different compensation depending on your skills and experience.
