DevOps Consulting is seeking a Business Development Manager with established industry relationships to join our sales team. You will be responsible for developing new sales and sustaining effective relationships within current and prospective client organizations.
While building new clients will be your focus, we place equal importance on growth of existing clients in your bucket. You will be responsible for devising and implementing sales and marketing plans, identifying new business opportunities and converting opportunities into sales. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs and will map those needs against Ideal’s services and capabilities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Over 5 years’ experience in selling IT staffing and/or software development projects. Experience generating business from new accounts and penetrating existing accounts. Proven experience in IT sales in the areas of Software Applications Development, Web Services, Data Warehousing, DevOps etc. Established relationships with major companies using IT services. Proven new business development track record within both the Vendor Management (VMS) framework and through direct client relationships Ability to recognize and understand business opportunities and develop effective business development strategies. Must have experience cold calling, networking, implementing and executing strategic sales plans. Proven selling and persuasion skills Exceptional ability to comfortably speak with and present to prospective clients at all levels of an organization Ability to troubleshoot customer service issues and follow up in a timely manner. Assist in resolving service issues and assist in facilitating account reviews, customer satisfaction surveys, quality standards/policies, etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IE)
