We are looking for an EXPERIENCED full-stack developer to join our startup as a co-founder and help us complete our project as well as add enhancements going forward. Experience building and managing a development team is a requirement as we would like the candidate to become the CTO. Applicant must have experience with Javascript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Parse.com, Cordova, Node, and Chaplin or Backbone Frameworks. CoffeeScript experience is a plus. We are a self-funded start-up with a 2-year runway. Our founders are both successful, experienced entrepreneurs. We are flexible in regards to pay/equity but would prefer a partner that is willing to earn some sweat equity and join in our vision of transforming the ways schools and organizations communicate with parents. We are also open to someone starting part-time with an eventual transition to full-time. We already have a beta school signed up and we have many other schools and organizations on our waiting list.
