We are hiring a Web Developer to create modern, responsive, and accessible web applications that support a large-scale online education platform. This position plays a key role in delivering intuitive user interfaces and reliable front-end functionality for both students and staff.

Role Overview
As a Web Developer, you will build and maintain secure, scalable web applications and interfaces optimized for usability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code and ensure applications meet accessibility and responsive design standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop modern websites and web applications using current front-end technologies
• Create responsive, mobile-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and usability
• Ensure applications comply with accessibility standards such as WCAG
• Work with product, UX, and technical teams to deliver new features and improvements
• Diagnose issues, fix bugs, and enhance application stability
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented code
• Support API and backend system integrations
• Participate in code reviews and help improve development practices

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience building websites or web applications
• Strong grasp of modern web development concepts and UI best practices
• Experience creating responsive applications for multiple devices and browsers

Preferred Qualifications
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience implementing accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508)
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design

Work Authorization
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
• Must currently live in the United States
• Must be willing to travel occasionally to Washington, DC
