Position Summary:
The Maintenance Invoice Analyst is responsible for the final validation of all JSSI’s maintenance-related cost data entry. This role ensures that every line item transcribed from a maintenance invoice perfectly matches the original document. The Analyst is also responsible for enriching the cost data with contextual aircraft details, such as Part Numbers, Serial Numbers, Modules, and ATA Chapters. The contextualization may also include reasons for the cost, as well as relating to the JSSI HCM program coverage under which costs are incurred or attributed to in support of technical and financial analyses. The Analyst in this role is expected to assist with continuous improvements through pattern recognition, maintaining SOP, finding ways to improve accuracy, and identifying automation opportunities (through use of enterprise AI or software enhancements).
- Perform 100% audits of transcribed data in JSSI’s system against the original maintenance invoice to ensure zero errors in cost, quantity, or vendor details.
- Manually or systematically enrich invoice data by linking costs to specific physical attributes such as appropriate ATA Chapters (e.g., ensuring a landing gear actuator cost is attributed to ATA 32) or Engine Modules (e.g. ensuring a high-pressure turbine disk is attributed to Turbine Module) to support technical analysis.
- Further contextualize costs by adding details of reasons why costs are incurred as they relate to asset program coverage.
- Flag and resolve any instances where the transcribed financial data deviates from source data and physical reality described in the invoice or maintenance logs.
- Flag and report recurring patterns, drifts, and errors for documentation and resolution.
- Assist in identifying and implementing new data enrichment opportunities.
- Assist in identifying common transcription errors and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in monitoring of offshore team’s transcription and throughput metrics to identify lapses of timeliness and quality.
- Assist in maintaining invoice analysis SOP to achieve high standards of accuracy and throughput.
- Assist in the expanding use of enterprise AI in all aspects of the above duties and responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation (preferred) or Accounting field.
- Ability to communicate, read, and write articulately in English.
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraint.
- Extreme attention to detail required: Ability to spot minute discrepancies between a PDF maintenance invoice and a digital database entry.
