We’re looking for creative and experienced Systems and Software Engineers to help us build the next generation of deployment and runtime management systems. Our team is working on host hardening, kernel-based containerization, and asynchronous web services. If you’re a Linux nerd at heart and interested in deployment isolation, security, networking, or performance tuning, we’d love to hear from you.

Required -Experience coding in Python, with some C and/or Go, preferably for systems programming

• Experience with network queuing services

• Experience with a service directory or locking service such as etcd or ZooKeeper

• Experience building RESTful web services

• Deep understanding of the Linux kernel

• Experience building distributed applications

• Experience working with Linux kernel filesystem features, such as: + Filesystems + File formats + Device mapper

• Experience with Linux kernel isolation and containerization technologies, such as: + Kernel namespace features + cgroups

• Experience with advanced Linux networking features, such as: + iptables + Linux Traffic Control

• Experience with Linux performance tuning

• Experience with security features, such as: + SELinux or AppArmor + Linux system hardening

• Experience with Amazon Web Services or another cloud provider

Salary and compensation

$80,000 — $160,000/year
